Definition of what would be considered "off-topic" discussion or messaging are hard to clearly define... In general please avoid veering too much outside of what could be considered or useful for other game developers. If all you ever write about is beer, basketball or interpretive costumed handstand fights, that might be considered "off-topic" and your account might be silenced/muted. These are interesting things! Just not all the time, and perhaps not on this Mastodon instance.

Keep in mind that this is an open Mastodon instance; basically if you wouldn't write something on twitter (wrt secret project at work; ship dates of your games etc.), maybe it's not a good idea to write about it here. For your own good :)

Our Responsibilities moderators are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.

Moderators have the right and responsibility to silence or delete messages and user accounts that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to suspend temporarily or permanently any contributor for other behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

This Code of Conduct applies within activities instance.

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported either via Mastodon's built-in "Report" tools, or by contacting the owner of this instance (Aras Pranckevičius; All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances.
